Morning Time /Hot Town

This time Hocus Pocus step up with another double a-side dripping with freshness from the very talented label stalwart K Jah. Hocus Pocus 009 rolls out with two tracks that marry all that is heavy about the warm bass roller dnb vibes from a bygone era with that current contemporary flavour! Two dance floor weapons with a potent groove… not to be slept upon.

A – Morning Time

Morning Time is a real roller that grooves like some west-coast hip-hop flavours on a hot summers day! Producer K Jah takes you there by way of an intro that sucks you in with a nice rolling vibe accompanied by bongos & subtle female vox to compliment the bubbly nature of the track! Upon the breakdown we are treated to a heat laced bassline that drops before the beats come back to take the listener on a trip down the champion roller highway! Big Tune!

AA – Hot Town

Serious, serious tune this! Reminiscent of that pure pioneering Bristol sound from the late 90’s… K Jah puts a 2014 stamp all over this riddim’ to make it one those tracks that will do damage on any dancefloor. The eerie intro on this one step’s out as it draws on the senses & snaps your neck along to the beat! Further to that… the track then introduces a trippy melody that sounds like something ghostly is creeping up on ya! At the breakdown hip-hop vox catapult you in to a bouncy bubblin’ b-line that hooks you in & doesn’t let go till the track fades away! A really intoxicating track that will have you bubblin’ to say the very least.
